Project including refurbishment to a family house, introduction of a new outer building and swimming pool. The external new structure included a new basement level constructed with reinforced concrete walls in sequence. The structure around the pool was also designed by KPT design. An interesting part of the project was the design of a thin platform above movable pool cover.
KPT Design provided a design for the refurbishment of the property and the introduction of a new basement. The substructure included underpinning to one of the party walls, tying into the already formed basement on the other side and the introduction of lightwells to the front and rear. Metal decking was used at Ground floor to assist the speed of construction and minimize the amount of required formwork.
